where girls do life together
Nearly three years ago, P31Girls was founded by Tanesha Myles to empower girls in DC/MD/VA. She envisioned an all-girls program in which they would be empowered and meaningfully challenged, by which their faith and education, would prepare them to engage as change makers locally, nationally, and even globally. Ms. Myles established P31Girls as an enrichment & leadership development program where girls do life together.
P31Girls is a blueprint and lifestyle model. The P31 blueprint model promotes life-changing and enduring values; our mission is to help girls develop a strong sense of self, thrive and contribute to safe, healthy, and just communities. Our programs promotes academic excellence, social-emotional, social impact, civic engagement, leadership development, and financial literacy, entrepreneurial exploration. There are many opportunities to get involved grow, explore, and blossom through guidance, inspiration, exposure, support and motivation. We serve girls in grades 5 - 9.
Most of our programs are at no cost. We operate a hybrid schedule, a blend of virtual (ZOOM), and in person (DC/MD/VA only) sessions with members in the United States, London, Canada, and Indonesia. Members have access from anywhere around the globe to an exclusive, continuous connection to a Community of Mentors, Coaches and Sisters-Friends in addition to Workshops, and activities. It's it safe, convenient, and virtually accessible by a cellphone, tablet or computer.
